Thanks to the generous support of our community and successful fundraising events, we're happy to share that the mural has been funded!

The current NRH Library opened to the public in April of 2008, and after 15 well-loved years, it's time to freshen up our Library with new paint! While the City of NRH has generously funded new paint throughout the building, we want our Children's Library to be special. Children spend time reading to their parents and therapy dogs in our Children's Library. They attend story times and learn their first letters and numbers; they learn to read and fall in love with their first book; they develop their lifelong love of reading and learning—all in our Children's Library.

This fundraiser's goal is to help create a warm and welcoming space for all these special moments. The Friends will install an art mural throughout the Children's Library with the funds raised. The mural will be applied in various capacities throughout the Children's Library to create a cohesive look and an inviting atmosphere that many children and families will share for years to come.

All donations for this project will go directly to the costs of acquiring and installing the mural  in the Library. Any additional funds that exceed our goal will be used for supporting children's events and programming at the Library.
